Support Corey Johnson & Family

This page has been started by Corey Johnson’s friends in support of both his healing, and his family during this difficult time.  If you know Corey, you know about his sharp sense of humor, his good heart and his love of life.  He has always been someone who can be counted on when you’re down, and unfortunately, this is our opportunity to return the favor.

Corey became the victim of a hit and run accident while driving his motorcycle less than 2 miles from his home on August 25th, 2018.  A driver ran a stop sign, collided with Corey and fled the scene.  Luckily, a witness immediately called an ambulance, saving his life.  Corey was rushed to the hospital, where he was shown to have sustained a fractured collarbone, punctured lungs, several broken ribs and other injuries.  We thank God he was wearing his helmet and did not receive any injuries to his brain or spine. 

Corey’s parents immediately dropped everything to come to Atlanta, and have been by his side since.  Ros, Corey’s mom, says she’s not leaving until she hears Corey call her name.  We hope and pray that she won’t have to wait long. 

As of September 13th, Corey is still in the ICU, but is showing improvement to his breathing.  He has been taken off the ventilator, and we trust in God for his continued progress. 

All donations will go toward Corey’s doctor bills and rehabilitation expenses, and to help his loved ones to stay by his side.
