Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief

My name is Luis Santiago. I currently have a lot of family in need in Puerto Rico. The devistation of hurricane Maria has left the island in ruins. We have heard from some family members but not from all. From what we know, they are with out power, water and communications. We also found out my uncle fell from a ladder while boarding up the house. Breaking an arm and fracturing his face. As of today my Aunt has reached out that their generator quit working and a replacement can not be found. Price gouging on the island is also not helping.

With postal services still down, getting goods to the island is almost impossible and even if it does arrive the possibilty of it being stolen is high. Because of this my Father and I are planning to Fly to PR with portable generators along with some essential supplies. Any extra funds available will be donated to other help efforts on the island.

We are asking for help from anyone who can help get them through these hard times, we hear it may take months for power and water to return, the roads are still flooded, covered in debri and cell service is said to be very spotty at best .... so as we wait for information and updates our hearts are heavy and we have faith that God has protected them and will continue to help them get through these tough times.
