Running for a Cause

Tax deductible
On September 23, 2018 friends and family of the LInsteads will be running in the Loch Ness Marathon in Scotland to raise money for the non-profit group No Stomach For Cancer as well as awareness of stomach cancer and the CDH1 gene mutation.  The non-profit's mission is to support research and unite the caring power of people worldwide affected by stomach cancer.

Every single year there are over 1million new cases of stomach cancer reported worldwide with stomach cancer being the third leading cause of cancer deaths.

Many of the LInstead family have been directly and indirectly impacted by stomach cancer and the CDH1 gene mutation, leading us to lose too many of our family members directly to stomach cancer.  Others of us were forced to take drastic measures to combat stomach cancer by having our stomachs completely removed.  The names of family members that had their stomachs completely removed are:

Paul Linstead
Mike Linstead (running in the marathon)
Camden Linstead ( running in the marathon)
Lee Dodson

We are asking for donations of any amount that you are able to give, with those funds going directly to No Stomach For Cancer.  Those funds will help the non-profit continue their mission of supporting research and supporting families of those affected by stomach cancer.
