Aaron and Karla needs our help

With deep sadness Randy and Nita Lanier, Aaron Lanier's parents, want to let everyone know that this past Tuesday, his wife, Karla Lanier, during her 7 month pregnancy check-up to her doctor, found out there was no heartbeat on her baby girl. She spent almost 48 hours in labor but with no progress and having developed complications had to have a C-section on Thanksgiving Day, which now extends her recovery time to several weeks. Due to the loss of Gabriella, their beautiful baby girl, Karla and Aaron have unexpected and expensive medical bills that they will be responsible for that insurance doesn't cover during her 6 day Hospital stay. There has also been loss of wages due to this.

Lord,
The grief with this loss of our beloved daughter Gabriella is crushing. Aaron and I know we will get through this, but until we do, we lean hard on You. We pick up the sword of the Spirit–Your Word–and find comfort in our sadness. We use this sword to counter the enemy’s attempts to gain a foothold in our lives. We know this pain will not last forever because we choose to put our trust in Your goodness and Your presence. Your Word says, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in Spirit.” Psalm 34:18. Your Word also tells us that “I am blessed in loss and grief because I will find comfort.” Matthew 5:4. We lift up these truths so that the grief and loss that Satan seeks to exacerbate in our lives will just make us more blessed and closer to God. Thank You, God, for Your sword of truth.
