Hello all!
Do you know a child with a developmental disability? What about an adult with a developmental disability? What does a regular week day look like for them (since they are no longer in school)? If you are unsure, you should consider looking into AIM!
Adults In Motion (AIM) is a non-profit organization created for adults with development disABILITIES. This program helps individuals build life skills and maintain their independence, while building life long friendships. Once out of high school, there are limited programs available for these individuals and therefore I believe it is extremely important to keep these programs running in our community.
I have been volunteering with AIM for the last 6 months and everyone there (from the participants to the staff) are the most AIMazing people I have ever met, and I would hate to see the program disappear. That is why I would like to help them by starting a fundraiser. The goal is $500, however anything will help!! Whatever funds I receive will be donated to the Cambridge AIM location.
