Flood Relief Adult with Asperger's

Donation protected
Hurricane Harvey relentlessly battered the city of Houston, displacing and separating hundreds of thousands of families across Southeastern Texas.

The Red Cross, FEMA, and other organizations are doing their best to meet the needs of desperate families, but the agencies are overwhelmed. Houstonians are reaching out to help their fellow neighbors, and the outpouring of kindness is evident at the shelters across the city.

Although safe and dry, going to shelter may be difficult for someone with Asperger's who suffers from anxiety and sensory hypersensitivities, and the chaos and confusion may lead to emotional distress.

For this reason, we are reaching out to the greater community now to help Matthew, a kind, talented artist and young adult on the autism spectrum, displaced by the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.

Matthew is in need of immediate funding to cover his housing, transportation, and basic needs.

Thank you for your care and support for Matthew.

GoFundMe has requested additional information to avoid any scams during the aftermath of the hurricane. My name is Dr. Heidi Stieglitz Ham and I am the founder of Spectrum Fusion, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of adults like Matthew. I have offered to set up this GoFundMe page to help him during this crisis.
