Hello, and thank you for taking time out of your day to consider supporting our need. My name is Maria. My husband, Adrian -- my best friend, father to my children, my cheerleader in life, suffered a serious cardiac event while on assignment for work in a remote, out of state location away from home. This whole experience has abruptly flipped our lives upside down.
I am exhausted as I write this. Adrian is a 20 year veteran of the US Army National Guard where he served bravely in multiple combat tours in the Middle East, as well as in dozens of major fire rescue missions in the western United States. As a combat Black Hawk
pilot, and later a fire suppression pilot, his mission has always been to fly into dangerous situations to save the
lives of people he doesn't even know.
Well, now, (even though he'd never ask for it himself) I'm pleading for some
help for him, from strangers like you.
On October 30th, 2017, Adrian had to undergo emergency quadruple bypass surgery, in an unfamiliar place, to correct a 95%+ blockage in all four of his arteries. We were caught completely off guard with this -he's only 42 years old and otherwise healthy.
The day after his surgery was our 4th wedding anniversary.
In order to be here to support him, I've had to leave behind my three children, our youngest is 3 years old. In an effort to help us with the medical and recovery needs, we are asking for your help with anything
that you can give.
Your money will go towards medical expenses
and basic necessities to help him recover while Adrian is unable to work. Funds received will allow me to take needed time off of work to support his recovery and pay the difference of what health insurance will not cover and purchase a special bed/equipment that he may need.
I am beyond blessed to be sitting by his side as he is in recovery. Thank you to all of you for your prayers and help.
