Adrian's Climb to Kilimanjaro

On a recent trip back to Australia I caught up with an old friend Russ Barton who does some incredible work with a charity Operation Uganda which looks out and cares for vulnerable children in Uganda. 

Climb for Kids 2018 is a specific fundraising appeal to raise $100,000 to build a secondary school in the distric of Abim where currently hundreds of children do not have access to secondary education.

My friends and family know I do not do things by half and despite being very new to this trekking business I am embarking on this challenge!!  With less than 6 weeks to go before I head to Tanzania I am pushing myself by walking mountains in Ireland which is challenging in the Winter conditions.   I have a good way to go but this is a great cause and you all have the joy of knowing that I will be working hard to achieve this.
