As many of you are now aware, On Saturday, January 20th, while on our way to a dinner reservation, my best friend Adriana and I were involved in a car accident. As we exited the freeway, Adriana lost control of the car, hit the white cement barrier to her right, and got out of the car to inspect the damage. While doing so, our car was hit from behind by another car. Adriana was projected 20 feet in the air upon impact. While I was able to walk away unscathed with minor bruising, she was not so fortunate. Upon arriving at the hospital, she was immediately wheeled into emergency surgery. She suffered a severe traumatic brain injury including a fractured skull that caused bleeding in her brain, two broken legs, and a broken arm. She had a second round of surgeries performed Monday afternoon to repair additional broken bones. The recovery process for her injuries will take 6 months to a year. Adriana is a single mother and soul provider to her 13 year old son Roman, which is why I have formed this crowdfunding page. We ask that if this story touches your heart, and you find yourself asking what if this was me, please donate. Any small amount would help, as she will be unable to work and care for her child. Her medical bills will most certainly be in the thousands. Every cent collected will be directed towards Adriana’s healing journey. We are so grateful for God’s grace that she is still with us.
