Hello friends,
As you know, this last summer has been quite trying for our family.
With grief came a load of new responsibilities and expenses, which we were not ready to face. We quickly found ourselves overwhelmed and do not have another option than reaching out.
Our little nephew cannot stay alone in Senegal, and his grandma will not be able to take care of him for more than a year at most. We would really like to have him come spend this Christmas with family here in LA this year, as it will be the first one without his mom.
The right thing to do is for us to adopt him and bring him to his new home, our home. As some of you may know, adoption is a long and difficult process, but we hope that with the generous help of friends and family, we will be able to see our hopes come true.
