Adopting our niece Ashlynn

Jeremy and Taylor have been going through the long process of adopting their 10 year old niece, Ashlynn. This is something that has been in the works for awhile and they are all very happy to be able to move forward. A lot of the reasons they have been wanting to do this are very personal to both them and Ashlynns family. Because of how deep of a family matter this is, they feel it is best to keep some information offline. (The immediate family members closely involved know all the facts, whys and reasons why this is something that needs to happen.) However, they do feel that it is appropriate to share some of their reasons with everyone. Ashlynn has been such a huge part of Jeremy and Taylor's lives for the 10 years she has been alive. They have helped and watched her grow into the beautiful, intelligent and strong young lady that she is. They have helped support and provide for her along with Jeremy's mom, Patricia. Ashlynn spent the last 7 years living with Patricia. Patricia has raised 4 kids already, with the 4th one about to graduate high school this year. At this point in her life she just wants to be grandma. Jeremy and Taylor currently do not have any children of their own and are more than willing to care, provide, love and support Ashlynn as their own. Ashlynn has never known her biological father and has not seen her biological mother in 5 years. She deserves to have a mother and father who are prominent in her life. She deserves so many things that other children have already without the worry of losing those things in the blink of an eye. Here is where the GoFundMe page comes in- Jeremy and Taylor, as stated before, are in the process of adopting Ashlynn. The first step that they have taken was to move her in with them. That happened on April 19th of 2019. The next step was to just live as the family that they are for 6 months. After the 6 months is up, which will be up in October, Jeremy and Taylor will get in contact with the family lawyer they have already met with and hired. The lawyers will take it from there with all of the legal documents and things to follow.  The GoFundMe page is so that family members can help contribute towards any legal fees that come up. Jeremy and Taylor have been told by so many family members and friends that they want to help financially. They figured that this would be the best way for those who wish to help to be able too. Any amount of money that is left over from the legal and court fees will go right into a college account for Ashlynn! No amount of money that is provided for this cause will go towards personal expenses!  If anyone has any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask Taylor or Jeremy. Right now they are focused on providing and loving Ashlynn and are praying that the rest of the process will be smooth and painless for all involved!
