Adopting Malik

My name is John Stroud I’m a hard working man who pushes to do the best I can by my family. As you all know being married to my wonder wife Jenny Stroud I have became a huge influence in our son Malik’s life. This little boy has stolen my heart completely and showed me that blood or not I could love another human like my own child. He’s blessed me in so many ways and has taught me that being a step parent can be hard but in the end one of the most rewarding gifts on earth. Here recently my wife and I received a call from our attorney saying that maliks father has turned in the paper work to sign his rights over. I’ve never felt so broken in my life. I grew up without a father myself and missed out on all the things a father and son should do, all the bonding, fishing, building cars, sports, and all the love a child should receive from his father. Malik has always wanted me to be his father and in his eyes I am, but I want to give malik a gift that will be with him the rest of his life, a promise that I will never walk out on him, a promise that I will always be there standing behind him pushing him towards his goals, giving him the best advice I can give, and letting him know he has a dad that loves him unconditionally for the rest of his life.  Please help me give this gift to him even though he wants to keep his moms maiden name and be called Malik Wilson Stroud. Lol
