Adopting Baby K

We are overjoyed to announce that we are adopting a little one from Colombia. For almost 3 years, we have been trying to add to our family. We've been through all the testing and tried multiple infertility treatments but we have been unable to make Baby K a reality. After our last round of treatment we decided to take some time off to pray and seek direction from the Lord.
We have been open to adoption from the beginning, really even before we started trying to get pregnant we had talked about adopting or fostering at some point. In the last few months we have felt a complete shift from adoption being our last option for baby #1 to it being our hearts desire.
We are completely over the moon about this decision and know it is right for our family. We have the most amazing support system in our family and friends and know you will all be just as excited about this as we are.
As you may or may not know adoption is quite expensive. Specifically for Columbia the average cost is between $26,000-$30,000. We are humbling ourselves and reaching out for help in this process.

If you are wondering what all that money is going to see the fee schedule below:
February 15th(this Thursday!)= $6,000 for contract signing
February-April= $3,000 for Home Study
Orphan Care Fee= $2,500
Dossier Fees= $3,500
Document Fees and Processing= $4,000
Government required travel to Columbia for 4 weeks and bringing Baby K home!!= $9,000
Post Adoption Fees= $2,000
