URGENT UPDATE:
Hope and I knew that adopting an orphan girl from the other side of the world wasn’t going to be easy. There have been so many challenges so far. And now we’re facing the biggest one yet. As you already know, our girl is turning 16 in January, and will age-out of the orphanage and be turned out to survive on her own, facing homelessness, hunger, and human trafficking. So we’ve moved quickly to gather the up-front costs of the adoption, and thanks to all of you who have given, those upfront costs are paid in full. Now, we are eligible for grants that will cover the remaining costs of the adoption and adoption-related expenses. But due to how quickly we are moving to adopt her before it’s too late, we’ve now discovered that our 3 trips to Eastern Europe will be taking place before many of the grants can be approved. So now, we are launching a larger campaign, and are fighting with all our might to raise the full amount needed. Total costs for international adoption, which includes 3 round-trip airline tickets per person, large in-country expenses, in-country travel by bus and train, court costs, and lodging for several weeks, adds up to approximately $33,000. We are not the first family that’s had to raise this amount of money for international adoption. We are consulting with other families who have faced identical circumstances, and we are working with an adoption finance coach on how to raise the full amount before our first trip, which will likely be in February. We can do this! Please give any amount you can! And please tell lots of other people to give! Together, we raised the $9,000 needed to get the adoption secured, and we know we can do whatever it takes to save this precious girl’s life! We have a daughter on the other side of the world, and we WILL bring her home. Please give!

Right now, we have to get the adoption rolling to the point where the international adoption is set in place before her birthday. Otherwise, we’ll lose her and she’ll never be able to be adopted. By the time this is over, we will spend approximately $33,000. That includes 3 trips overseas. The first trip is for a week. The second trip is for 4 days. The third trip will last a month. But right now, we need up front money totaling $9,000. Please give as much as you possibly can, and help us bring this girl home. We appreciate prayers, but remember, we’re asking for money.
