Adopt a Family Holiday Gifts

As the holidays are quickly approaching us, we have the opportunity to expand the Adopt-A-Family tradition.  AZ Underwriting Department has assisted over 20 families with donations of 400+ presents for the past three years, and as we begin our 4th year of this charitable act, we would like to make it the biggest year yet with Processing and Sales help!

We partner with low-income schools for our Adopt-A-Family, and this year we are assisting families from Alta Vista Elementary, Alfred F. Garcia Elementary, and Dreaming Summit Elementary. 

For perspective of what is considered "low-income", in 2016, a family of three making an ANNUAL income below $20,449 is eligible for free meals or below $29,100 for reduced price meals.

Alta Vista Elementary has 99% of the 580 students receiving lunch assistance (free/reduced).  595 students attend Alfred F. Garcia Elementary with 98% of the children receiving lunch assistance.

We all are very blessed to work for such a great company that takes care of us and of our families, and I am hoping that you will be willing to donate so we can support these families in need.  Donations are needed by Wednesday, 12/13, to allow for time to shop/wrap presents for the families.
