Yev's Fight

On Father's Day, Yev suffered a tragic accident which has him fighting for use of his eye.  He underwent roughly three (3) hours of surgery to repair the damage to his eye, after being sliced by a knife.  The permanent damage to his eye is unknown, only time will tell if he will regain sight and to what degree.

Yev is a father to two boys, a loving husband and the provider for his family.  He has always been selfless and the first to lend a hand when one is in need.  Now he is facing an unknown fight to heal from this tragic accident.

My goal is to raise a couple thousand dollars to help with his hospital bills and take some of the pressure off of his family while he recovers.  He is due to return home to recover on June 16, 2014 and there is no time table as to when he will be able to return to work.

Yev has always been the first to help anyone in need, especially a fellow hockey player.  Now he is in need and I am hoping we can all help return the favor.  If you are not able to contribute at this time, I ask you please keep Yev in your prayers as he takes on this newest challenge in his life.
