Adios dreadlocks

The majority of us in some form have been affected by cancer,  whether it be a loved one, a friend or work colleague.

My own experience with cancer has resulted in many loved ones falling victim to this horrible disease, and watching those around me go through the same struggles.

My aim through this fundraiser is to not only raise money but to raise awareness, it is something that unfortuantely affects too many.

Through out the course of the next two months I will be arranging a themed fundraiser night, with the aim to reach $5,000 to go towards the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.  During this event I will be shaving my beloved dreadlocks after four years in the making, with further details to come through my facebook account.

I will be doing this in honour of Sally Mclean who sadly lost her battle with cancer after a nine year battle and Jenny Poppe who is about to kick cancers butt for the second time x
