Help Me Get To Portugal!

I have been accepted into a study abroad in Portugal. During the program, I will be doing marine science fieldwork. I'm a freshman in high school and I want to go to college and get a Ph.D. so I can be a marine biologist. This program is a glimpse into my future and an amazing opportunity I could ever ask for. While to some people taking notes and learning about marine life may sound boring but to me is a dream come true. I've wanted to be a marine biologist since I was in elementary school and would go to my town's library and read about marine life. But when I started middle school I was being severely bullied and later was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and a panic attack disorder. I was suicidal, and it didn't get much better throughout middle school, but the one thing that I always turned to when I was depressed was reading about marine life. I would spend my lunches in the library with my friend and read about the amazingness of the ocean. Now that I am in high school, I've gotten better with the help of medication, therapy, my friends and family, music, and studying my passion. If I were to get the money through your help it would mean the world to me. I'm in a time crunch because my application was lost in the scuffle but now that I have been accepted I have until May 11 to get the money. The program is 5000 dollars but with air fair that adds another grand. With your help, I can live my dream and do something I love in a once in a lifetime opportunity.
