Addison's New Adaptive Bike

We are very excited to purchase Addison a new adaptive bike to ride outside.

Addison suffers from ROHHAD* and is the only case in the state of VT. She went into renal failure for 6 weeks in 2014, which caused severe brain damage. Addison can no longer walk, or move much without the support of a wheelchair. Addison spent 3 months working hard at a rehabilitation center for children in NY. While there, Addison spent a lot of therapy time riding a fantastic adaptive bike.

Diagnosed in February 2014, Addy has since undergone several procedures including: tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tracheotomy, and surgery to biopsy a small mass found in her lower back.

Addy returned home in January 2015 and is settling back in with her mom, dad, grandpa, and 2 black labs Dewey and Auvee.
