My name is Tandi Romprey. I am close friends with Addison Short and her mother Stacy Short.
Addison Short is an 18 year old College freshman attending College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas Nv.
She was attending the Route 91 festival the night of the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas, NV. Addison was shot in her right lower leg. The bullet entered just above her ankle through her calf and came out the front of her leg removing some bone with it. She has already undergone surgery where they had to place a plate and screws into her leg. This is only the beginning of her road to recovery as she is looking at possible future surgeries as well as extensive therapy in the near and far future. She has bullet fragments still in her leg and will have a bone deformity for the rest of her life.
This is devastating to this young active 18 year old who was working as a life guard to help get her through college. Due to her injuries she will not be returning to work for several months.
Addison is the daughter of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Stacy Short. Please donate to help this family with the mounting current and future medical bills and to help make this financial burden a little easier on this family.
