Adam's Medical Fund

Friends, Adam has been diagnosed with high-grade stage 4 Glioblastoma.  Glioblastoma is an aggressive and very serious brain cancer.  Due to the aggressive nature of this cancer, time is of the essence so I am appealing to your kind hearts to help raise funds for Adam's care.  This is all so sudden and overwhelming that I didn't know how much to put for a goal.  Neurosurgery and chemotherapy will cost a lot but I figured this is a good place to start.

Adam, my cousin,  is a U.S. Navy veteran and has received wonderful care at the VA Hospital in Tampa.  However, the location and size of this tumor require Adam to seek outside, private care from experts who specialize in  brain tumors that are difficult to remove.  Unfortunately, he has no outside, private insurance to help cover the cost of his treatment.  He is currently paying out of pocket to consult with private neurosurgeons to arrange removal of as much of the tumor as can safely be removed.  This will require expensive surgery, travel, and post-operative care out of state.  

For those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Adam, I know you will agree that he is the most resilient, strong, and caring individual you will ever meet.  When I say that Adam will give you the shirt off his back, I am not exaggerating in the least.  Many of us have turned to Adam when we were in need of a helping hand, kind word, or just someone to listen and make us laugh.   He is also one of the most hard-working people I have ever met and I don't think anyone would dispute that either.  Adam never turns his back on friends or family and he needs our help now.  He is ready to fight this!
