The Mercer Family Fire

On Friday, July 20th, Phillip Mercer, an active duty Navy Sailor started his motorcycle to ride to work. He went back inside to kiss his wife goodbye for the day, and his motorcycle exploded. The fire quickly spread to his home. The fire department responded quickly and was able to save part of it, however he and his family lost a lot of things in the fire, including all his and his wife’s clothes.  The house is currently unlivable, and they are  staying in a hotel. Adding to the stress they have 4 children, 3 of which are getting ready to start school. They have a toddler, 2 elementary school children, and a special needs high schooler. The funds of this campaign will help cover their immediate needs, and needs not covered by insurance.  Any little bit helps!
