Adams Home Fire Emergency Fund

Yesterday I got the call that nobody wants to receive, my family member’s home was burning. I raced across town, not knowing if anyone was hurt or the extent of the damage and arrived to see engines from 4 local cities and towns, multiple ambulances and my family holding one another as they watched the flames get extinguished. They lost one of the family dogs, two cats, and most of their worldly possessions.  My mother and father in law, Cathleen and Russell Adams, had lived in this house for over thirty years and raised their two sons, Russ and Matt, there.

This family, my family, has the amazing capacity to come together in the face of tragedy and we will again. We are circling the wagons. My brother in law Matthew, his wife Amanda “Mandy”,  and their two children moved in to house back in 2016 when they were recovering from loss of a child and have been rocked again by this fire. They lost everything they owned, as well as their beloved dog and cats, as the fire started upstairs where they were staying. 

While we wait to see how the insurance company can/will help, they are in need of assistance with clothing, storage for what can be salvaged, household goods, everything really... 

We don’t ask for help lightly, any assistance will be so very appreciated.
