Essentials and Needs List On Friday 8/21, Kristen and Joey’s world went from not knowing what the status of their home was in the CZU Lightening Complex Fire to having their lives completely turned upside down in a matter of hours. While they got their family out safely, and they managed to grab a few things before having to evacuate, the damage is beyond belief! They’ve  lost everything and are completely devastated.

 Kristen, a 7th grade Science/ Math Teacher in The Pajaro Schoo district, Joey, working doing mold restoration in the San Lorenzo Valley, and their two little girls Emma, 4, and Macie, 2, are now having to rise from the ashes. Born and raised in the Santa Cruz Mountains they love their community and everyone in it. Joey has been out helping fight fires and trying to save other people’s homes even after losing his own.

I can’t even imagine what they must be going through right now. With your help we can get this amazing family starting to rebuild their lives. Thank you so much.

Or why i instead of someone else started this page...Kristen has been my one of my closest friends since she was born, our parents have been best friends since before both of us were born and  Now our kids are growing up together as the 3rd generation of the Marlow/Primeau family Legacy

So there ya go! I’m Malissa Hutchings (Marlow) and Kristen, Joey, the girls (and the rest of the Primeau family) aren’t just my friends , they are not just my family, they are a part of my  soul! I would not have had half the amazing life that I had if I hadn’t done it with The Primeau’s/ Adams by my side the whole way through.
