Adam Veli's Cancer Battle

Adam is our best mate. He is one of the kindest, most selfless and genuine people we know and he has just emabarked on the biggest battle he may ever have to face.
Unfortunately Adam was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It was obviously a shock to us and all, but the way Adam has carried himself over the last 4 weeks has been remarkable. His positivity, general nature and openess throughout the process is a testament to the type of person he is. If you ask Adam, or any of us, cancer will not beat him.
In a show of support, a group of family and friends gathered at Adam's house to shave our heads and go into this battle as a band of brothers and sisters, all 100% behind him. We aimed to have 5 heads shaved, and by the end of the night, we had 13 bald nuggets. With the aim of raising $5 per shaved head per person in attendance, we soon got to an amazing figure of $65 per person!
Now, we ask for your support. Originally, our intention was to pass this money directly to Adam, so he and Bianca could get away once this is all done and enjoy a little slice of paradise, but Adam wouldn't allow it. As such, 50% of the funds will be given to Adam, with the other 50% going directly to research on exercise as medicine for cancer - an area that Adam is so passionate about. A true reflection of the man he is.
If you are able to donate $65, it would be absolutely fantastic, but please don't feel like you must. Any amount will go a long way to giving Adam the time he deserves and will help the research!
