My name is Adam Stone and I have recently concluded a successful collegiate golf career at California State University, East Bay.
Golf is my passion; I have been playing since I was able to walk. To me, golf is not just a sport; it has been my pathway to an adulthood built on integrity, honor and pride.
I am committed to earning my place as a leading golf professional, and I am absolutely certain that a pathway exists for me to reach the PGA Tour. The successes that I have earned in collegiate and amateur golf have honed my competitive skills and fortified my commitment to winning.
Among the golf accomplishments of which I am most proud are:
- Twice selected by the American Golf Coaches Association as an All-American collegiate golfer
- Three times selected as All-CCAA (California Collegiate Athletic Association) Conference Team honors
- Two times awarded All-Region (West and South-Central America) player honors
- Winner of five Collegiate championships
- Champion of the U18 English Schools Championship, both individual and team
- Captain of the CalState East Bay collegiate team for two years
- Captain of U18 English Schools Team
The leap from amateur to professional golf requires many capabilities: focus, tenacity, organization, and financial resources. The first three I have in spades. It is the final capability about which I hope you can help me with. My commitment to winning is matched by my absolute dedication to frugality. Rest assured, any resources provided would be used in the most shrewd manner.
If I am able to receive enough funding by November 20th then I would enter Q School for the PGA Tour Latin America, which is a PGA Sanctioned tour but failing this I will be entering another PGA Tour Sanctioned tour, PGA Tour Canada.
