<div>On January 8th 2024, Was a completely normal day, Adam Coleman was sitting on the couch not feeling well- so he got up to go to the bathroom, and once in the bathroom he passed out and fell. He hit his head. Cheyenne (Adam’s girlfriend) called me to see if I thought the laceration on his eyebrow needed stitches. He was having some tremors that mimicked a seizure. We both agreed he needed to seek medical attention.

<div>They arrived to the ER shortly after 11pm, because he was having “seizure” like activity with an unknown cause the ER doctor ordered several test each test lead to another- that’s where the bad news comes in - they landed on a CT scan which shows a 8cm by 7cm mass in Adam’s chest. Which is complicated. The surgeon that was on call thinks This mass is too risky to be taken out because it is going around his aorta, esophagus, and left wind pipe to the lung. The doctors admitted Adam to the hospital at this point, ordered more test and requested consults with several specialists. (Pulmonologist, cardiologist, oncologist, etc)

<div>Was full of new doctors and information. Each doctor had bad news. This mass now has a diagnosis of lymphoma until a biopsy is performed and confirmed.

<div>Good news!! They were able to get him on the surgery schedule for the next day to do a biopsy so

<div>On 1/10/2024- they performed a bronchoscopy with eusb to obtain the biopsy. The unofficial results show that this mass is abnormal tissue, which the doctors already assumed it would be, they are just waiting on official results to let them know if this is truly lymphoma or what type of cancer this is. The current plan is to meet with an oncologist tomorrow on 1/11/2024 to determine the steps to take and what will happen next.

<div>1/11/2024- today they are going to do a repeat CT scan to ensure the mass is not pressing on the aorta. They want to prevent him from passing out again once he goes home. If that scan is okay. Adam will be discharged from the hospital and will follow up outpatient with oncology and all of the other specialists to work on the treatment plan.

<div>The treatment course is still completely unknown but is expected to be lengthy, whether it’s surgical or chemo and radiation.

<div>As most people know Adam and Cheyenne live in Texas away from all of their families and most of their friends. In most families it takes two incomes to survive in this day, So we created this gofund me to help with upcoming medical bills, missed work that Adam will have and Cheyenne as she will be caring for him.
