Adam Bedard

Hello everyone, My name is Pamela York and I am Nikki Howland's Aunt. I have never done a GoFundMe before and I feel I need to do this for NikNak and her family so please bear with me. As many of you now know, Adam died suddenly at home on Sunday October 1st. How does the world just keep turning and go on like nothing has happened when your brain is on pause and you can't even function day to day? The crap and bills just keep coming and now there is the new expense of laying this amazing person to rest. As we all know it can be very expensive. Adam was such a great person, father, nephew, Nikki's truest friend of 30 years, and a good friend to countless others. He was a devoted son and brother. He will be deeply missed. Please help out with whatever you can. Even if it is a share of this. Let's give him the memorial he and his family so deserve.

THE DASH

I read of a man who stood to speak at a funeral of a friend.

He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came the date of birth,

and spoke of the following date with tears.

But said what mattered most was the dash between those years.

For the dash represented all the time they spent alive on earth.

And now only those who love them know how much that little dash is worth.

For it matters not how much we own, the cars, the house, the cash.

What matters most is how we lived and loved and how we spent our little dash.
