This is Scott.
Hi to all my friends and everyone out there.
For those of you who don’t know them, this page is for my brother Adam and my mum Sue.
Please read and help out if you can

Adam is 19 years old.
What were you doing at 19? .........Training for your Career?.......having fun with your friends?......loving life and looking forward to the future?
Adam was doing all these things, then in May this year, he was hit with the devastating news that he had Ewing Sarcoma – a rare and aggressive type of bone cancer that tends to affect teenagers and young adults.
He had been suffering with back pain and had trouble sleeping, but thought nothing of it. He then developed a lump in his back and sought medical advice, upon which, after further investigation, a tumour was found growing on his pelvic bone and he learnt of his condition.
His life as he knew it changed forever and he immediately commenced with chemotherapy in the young adults unit at St James Hospital, Leeds. This treatment then needs to be followed with further specialist treatment in Jacksonville in the USA where a further course of chemotherapy, alongside proton therapy will be administered over 10 weeks commencing in November after his initial course of chemotherapy in the UK ends.
Upon completion of these treatments, Adam will return to the UK and undergo an operation to remove the pelvic bone where the Tumour developed.
Should Adam manage to complete all these treatments and a successful operation he is estimated to have a 60% chance of survival

The treatment in the USA is fully funded by the NHS and includes his flights accommodation and a hire car.
However, his living expenses and the cost of his mother Sue to accompany him during this difficult time are not covered. Adam can no longer work, and Sue has had to leave work to care for him and also for her father who, in a double blow, has bowel cancer.
This page is to raise funds to cover the living costs of Adam in the USA and for the costs to allow Sue to accompany him to the USA for the full length of his treatment.
We hope to raise enough to cover these costs and also, if possible, to pay for his brothers and father to visit them in the USA over Christmas and have his family around him.
The potential success of any cancer treatment goes hand in hand with a fighting spirit and positive attitude and to this end, we would ask for your generous donations to allow the best support possible for Adam whilst he fights this terrible disease and give him the maximum chance to fulfil a long and happy life.
Thankyou.
