Adaline's Medical Fund

Adaline Rose Isaacs is the daughter of my brother, Ian Isaacs, and his wife, Emily. She is currently 9 months old. She is my first and only niece. She is the only granddaughter of my parents, Doug and Lisa Isaacs, and Emily's parents, Nelson and Phyllis Tauzin.

She was hospitalized and placed in intenstive care two days after Chistmas due to bacterial meningitis. She had a stroke and started having seizures while there. She has since improved and been taken out of the ICU, but she is still in the hospital as of January 6th.

She may have suffered hearing and vision loss, and she also may have problems with motor skills. After she is out of the hospital, she will have to be in physical and speech therapy to recover.

Ian and Emily will already have high medical costs from the hospital stay alone, but they will also need money going forward for Adaline's therapy. Emily is also going to have to stop working to care for Adaline, so their money will be tight.
