ADA Compliant Home for Disabled Dad

Hello Dear Friends and Family,
This is not something you ever anticipate needing to do, but necessity and circumstances require it.
My parents have had a horrible few years, my father battles an agressive form of cancer, Merckle Cell Cancer. It put his only kidney into stage 5 kidney failure, he is Diabetic with Diabetic Neuropathy in his legs, and recently he has had several heart attacks. This has left him nearly entirely disabled and unable to walk and facing a lot of rehab. We must on top of it all move to an ADA Compliant Apartment in order to be able to accommodate a wheelchair and other home care items. My mother has recently had two surgeries for her back and reconstruction on her neck vertibrae and is in a brace for the next several months with limited mobility. I am their caregiver while in graduate school, and blessed to be able to be there with them thru this.
This is not something we ask lightly, as we are not used to asking for help, but if you are in a position to donate to a moving fund for them, we would greatly appreciate it. Our current apartment has stairs and steep slopping hills between the apartment and our parking. The home itself is not wheelchair suitable. There are a number of items that must be purchased that Medicare and Medicaid don't cover, moving to a place that can accommodate a wheelchair is our biggest hurdle. Their lease is up in November. Please, if you can't help, we understand this is not a time when anyone is solvent, but if you can spare something we would dearly appreciate the help. If you can, please pray for us and send him love and strength, that is a huge help! This is one if the hardest things we've ever experienced, if you can help make this transition work, we are truly thankful for anything anyone might be able to do.
Please share this, please add him to prayer lists, and please say a prayer for my dad, David Light. We are so scared to loose him, and desperately want him to be able to come home with us so we can care for him in the surroundings of his home and family.
