Academy of the Heart and Mind

Academy of the Heart and Mind is a literary magazine dedicated to helping emerging writers and artists get published and gain experience honing their craft. Founded in 2017, the website receives hundreds of views per day and is steadily growing.

We take submissions from all over the world in the categories of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art, which we post on our website daily. In addition, we have contests and writing challenges while promoting the work of our contributors on our social media platforms.

Now we hope to expand our website even further and we need your help. In the future, we hope to be able to give prizes to our contest winners, hold live literary readings where all of our contributors can gather in one place and get to know each other while reading the writing they've worked so hard on, have our own office, and publish a print journal. Even the smallest amount that you can give will be one step forward in making Academy of the Heart and Mind the best literary community it can be.

Creating Academy of the Heart and Mind has been such a dream come true for us. The creators of the website are all lifelong writers and readers and to give back to the literary world we've grown to be a part of is an exciting and humbling experience. We would never have been able to do this without our contributors and readers and we are extremely grateful for all of the support.
