A family belongs together: bring Indigo & Daisy to John

Story

Hey, I'm Dan, longtime mate of John, and all round great guy. Me, not John. Just kidding. Anyway, I want to help John and I know pennies are tight. Our family feels it. We also feel his loss of confidence, happiness, and need to be with his family. Daisy and John met before the pandemic and since then marriage, and having their kid has been full of challenges. They have had to raise stupendous amounts of money for healthcare in China, where Indigo has had three hospital stays and faced life support. Insurance was not available and they found a way through family and friends. Indigo has a passport. Job done. John's and his wife, Daisy, are currently going to court and tribunal service to appeal a visa rejection. This is wrong. Families belong together. John has always wanted to be a Dad and it seemed unlikely until the miracle that was Indigo was born. Believe me - he really is a miracle. The costs so far have been incredible and I know he has sold the majority of his football shirt collection, books, and everything he can to both support his family from afar and carry on through this cruel legal process. He's asked family for help with flights and travelled back when possible, but with wars and tariffs and uncertainty, flight costs have escalated and options reduced. He is conflicted about asking for help and tired of trying to work extra hours in jobs outside of his full-time working hours. He's been ripped off, had pressure from trying to balance his own mind, and supporting his own mother through the loss of her loved fella. And his sister Astrid is in hospital (and has been and will be for months). He tells me that he worries his son won't meet his granddad and grandmother. That is slowly breaking his heart. He mentioned how his colleague Mrs Boyle suggested to do GoFundMe and how a great City supporter Shez's family received help from others. I'm sorry, but you also deserve a little help. Let's get Daisy and Indigo to the UK. Whatever it takes! Dan, Van, and tribe.
