**Update**
Hi Everyone We are almost there! Building shell is now complete if we can reach our original goal of £50k we should be ready to open the doors. So many have been over generous but I know how good our “family” are. One last push #morethanjustaclub

Our Story

Acton CC, founded in 1908, is an ECB Clubmark Accredited cricket club. We field four competitive teams on a Saturday and two teams on a Sunday and operate a thriving Junior cricket set-up comprising more than 300 boys and girls.

Acton C.C. has come a long way since its early days as part of West Kensington Wesleyan Church’s sports section. Now more than 110 years old, the club has grown into one of the most successful in Middlesex, gaining promotion through the leagues to become an established member of the Middlesex County League, one of the best run and most competitive leagues in the country.

Right now the club faces a once in a generation opportunity. With our old pavilion having been taken over by the David Lloyd Leisure Group back in 2017, for the past three seasons we have been based out of a temporary clubhouse, which was built by our members. The committee has now secured planning permission and a 99-year lease to build a new, permanent home, which would give the club back its identity and enable it to secure its future as a thriving community sports club.

We now face the challenge of funding the building. With COVID-19 decimating the club’s income in 2020, and with third party funding options from sports organisations and charities currently on ice as the cricketing world adapts to the shock of the pandemic, we are having to self-fund the build of a new club house and changing facility. We are aiming to raise a further £60k in 2021 to make our dreams of a sustainable future at the heart of the local community a reality. To do this, we need your help.

Acton C.C. is a founder member of the newly formed Acton Sports Club , which was founded in 2020 to bring together three community sports clubs who share a single goal: to make sport accessible, safe and fun for all.
