Act of Sara 2016

Please consider supporting this effort to raise $3500 to help defray the costs associated with putting on what we believe will be a super fun concert for a great cause. Last May, Christopher and I presented the first Act of Sara concert to honor my wife, Sara Goldschneider, who passed away in 2014 after a five year battle with Leukemia. The concert featured some awesome local teen bands rocking out and we were able to donate $4000 to the Breathing Room Foundation, a fantastic local cancer support nonprofit. Last year’s Act of Sara was such a success that we’re doing it again, bigger and better, and we’re asking for your support.

Act of Sara 2016 will take place on Saturday, May 21st from 3pm to 9pm at "Alma Mater" (formerly NXNW) - 7165 Germantown Avenue, Phila, PA, 19119. We’re featuring seven very talented Philly-area teen bands (Skyline, Suburban Curb, CR8, Rover, Tribute, Dog Event, and Family Volleyball). Food and drink will be for sale, we'll have a great sound system, and tons of positive energy. And again, all proceeds from the concert will go directly to the Breathing Room Foundation.
