Trackchair for Mandi Nightingale

Mandi was a toddler when she contracted a virus which lead to brain damage; causing a movement disorder. She has been seen by many doctors. Much testing has been done. We were very fortunate to find a doctor in Irving, TX who has helped Mandi with brain therapy.  We are continuing the therapy which we feel is helping her. But, because of her condition, she still has very little independence and is unable to care for herself.
   Mandi has always loved the outdoors. Last fall, around her 17th birthday, she started talking about wishing she had a way to get around outside on her own. We knew a four-wheeler was out of the question, so we started looking for different options. She was able to try out an Action Trackchair at a show in OKC, and we realized it was something she could operate herself. This chair will allow her to enjoy many fun times out in the pasture with her dad feeding cattle and fixing fence. We believe that Mandi's quality of life will be improved by enabling her to be more independent and active outdoors. 
   We have been able to acquire a refurbished Trackchair, but due to unpaid and ongoing medical expenses we are coming to you for help in funding it.
