Everyone has been affected at some point in their lives by mental health and issues surrounding it. It could be, personally, a brother, a sister, a mother, a father, an aunt, an uncle, a cousin, a friend.
There are many of us out there who feel like we have nowhere to turn, or no one to speak to about our problems, whatever they may be. Organisation’s like Good2Talk help countless people and save many lives each year.
To raise funds for Good2Talk, I will be embarking on what promises to be one of the most mentally challenging, yet rewarding years of my life, doing 1 Year, No Beer.
As part of this, I will also be embarking on 13 physical challenges over the next 12 months.
Challenges
July 17 - Cycle from Mullingar to Westport 189 km, climb Croagh Patrick 7 km and 2,500ft and Cycle back 189km.
Challenge #2 of #13, "The SkiAthon" powered by M&S Plant Spares Ltdis in the history books.
A fantastic day from start to finish, a few dark spots along the way, but we have come out the other side feeling more revved up than ever before.
A huge thank you to all who came out and supported us today, you have no idea how much we appreciate it and how much it helped spur us on towards the finish, again thank you all!!!
Donie Carey and Joe Nangle, how many times do I need to say it, but these lads are bonafide legends and I am anticipating our next adventure together already.
To everyone else who helped out and has donated thus far, thank you. The money you are providing is helping directly the communities of Longford, Westmeath and is helping save lives in these communities.
