Act of kindness for Archie and his family

Donation protected
On the 8th of September the first day back at school after 6 months locked down 13 Year old Archie Mcbride suffered life changing injuries at the hands of other people. On his way home from school on the Tuesday afternoon he stopped at a local playground spending some time with friends when he was approached by another group of teenagers who weren't known to him. They enticed him onto a swing where they swung him so violently he come off causing him injuries that are going to change his life forever. Archie has extensive hip and pelvis damage. He has lost all nerve endings and has no blood flow preserved there for there is no other choice but for him to have a hip replacement! He was transferred to Southampton hospital and has started a 6 month recovery. Their not looking to bring him back to a local hospital till mid October given that he is well enough to be moved. He will now be needing a wheelchair whilst learning to walk with a frame &/ crutches. Though the wheelchair will become a permanent addition to Archie as he will have good days and bad. Unfortunately given that he is of such a young age he is unable to have his hip replacement till he is around 17 Years of age and fully grown even so he will still need a hip replacement every 10-15 Years after. Till then unfortunately he had to learn to live with the pain and adapting to a new life which no child should ever have to endure!
This has massively effected Archie, his mental health and well being including his family. He has an amazing mum whose been at his bedside since this has happened but Due to Covid no one else has been able to help nor visit meaning his dear little 2 Year old sister is missing her mum and her brother. This horrifying experience has hugely impacted the whole family and will continue to for many years to come. I feel they deserve a little kindness to help get them back on their feet. The reason why I have set up this go fund me is to help with travel costs & food during his stay in hospital whilst keeping the bills paid on the home Archie will be returning to. To also try give Archie the best birthday given the circumstances he may be spending in hospital, he deserves fbs would and more for coping so well after such trauma. To help with education, given they have just had 6 months off and there is no real idea of when Archie will be able to return to school. To get little Phyllis something she's always wanted and put a smile back on her face and to lift a little weight and worry off Chanel's shoulders. She has managed everything so well as she would do anything and everything for her children with no second thought but everyone needs a little pick up, a little help from time to time and this is their time. I hope this will help to alleviate some stress and give them less to worry about. Any donation will be greatly appreciated no matter how big or small everything Is a great help in this current time
