Audelia Community Fund

Since starting our effort in April, we have served over 1,000 families. This works out to over 9,800 individual meals. Each ACRT donation box has food and essential items valued in total to $100.00 for families with children and $60.00 without children!  We are also providing diapers, prenatal vitamins, and baby essentials to families, and single moms. At our heightened capacity, we have only had the funds and volunteers to serve 40 families a day, and every day we are faced with the decision to turn away families in need. 


OUR GOALS


Raise 10k dollars to have the financial security to continue serving the families we have already reached, in addition to new families, for the next month. The COVID-19 pandemic and its economic side effects are not going away anytime soon. Therefore, we want to be able to provide continual support to the families we reach. 


                                                                                                                   

With 10K a month we can:

Staff our pantry adequately so that we can safely and quickly provide essential goods to families and individuals who are already under immense financial stress.
Have the resources available to make sure that our boxes come not just with shelf-stable goods but also contain fresh produce; we believe food is a human right and that everyone should have fresh, healthy, unprocessed foods at all times.
Expand our supply of non-food items so we can continue to stock diapers for families along with hygiene products for all family members.

The Audelia Community Response Team hopes to continue providing food and essentials to families and individuals in our community as long we have the capacity to do so and to advocate for our community members who are systematically left out of resources.


Your contribution will be used directly to buy food and essentials for the community members we serve.
