Aconcagua 22,841' Sea-Summit 24hr

Donation protected
After numerous records on the highest peaks in the States, it's my dream to take my speed climbing skills abroad to a bigger arena. A small few have tried, but no one has ever successfully climbed a peak comparable to 7000 meters on Aconcagua from Sea Level (toe in the ocean!) to Summit in under 24 hours.

I know the altitude is higher, but the overall distance and elevation is equal on par or less than my other speed records in the same time frame. I believe I can be the first to do this and am confident in giving my best effort combining all  the skills, fitness, and experiences I've learned the last few years. I'll be funding the majority of this expedition/attempt out of pocket working/saving starting now, but I'd like to try to raise the other 25-50 % of funding and give a chance to my most significant friends/family/followers to support the big dream if you'd really like to see this happen and believe in me up there too! I'm asking for just $10 if you enjoy my adventures & you'd like to add your support, and $25 or more if you'd really like to see me go for it! #freethedream

Aconcagua (Spanish pronunciation: [akoŋˈkaɣwa]), with a summit elevation of 6,960.8 metres (22,837 ft), is the highest mountain in both the Southern and Western Hemispheres. The highest mountain in South America - 2nd most prominent mountain in the world. The highest mountain in the world outside of Asia. One of the Seven Summits –the highest points on the seven continents.

I will attempt to ride a bicycle fro m the ocean off the coast of Chile through the mountain passes over the Andes, down to  Argentina, and onto the trailhead and Summit in one continuous go! This will be my my most significant effort yet. I intend to do this  Dec/January 2018.
