Ackee Tree Scholarship Fund

The Ackee Tree Group, Porus, Manchester, Jamaica invites you to participate in the 2019 Ackee Tree Educational Scholarships and Awards Fundraising Campaign!

We work collaboratively with schools, its stakeholders, and communities to explore innovative solutions to various educational and socio-economic challenges that confront local communities.

Your contributions will be used to provide life-changing educational scholarships to academically gifted but financially challenged children attending schools in Porus and its environs and will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many children. Children who, without your assistance, will almost certainly confront financial hardship as they work hard in diligent pursuit of their educational aspirations.

The Ackee Tree Group has previously contributed Projectors and Whiteboards, Chairs, Books, and Electronic Security Alarm Systems to local schools. Last year with your help we funded over 100 scholarships.  We believe, that with your assistance, we can double that number.

The Group has also established a free Legal Assistance program to assist citizens in and around Porus.

The Group has also honored and recognized outstanding community leaders from academia and other industries for dedication to community service.

The Ackee Tree Group believes that quality education should be affordable and accessible to every child anywhere in the world.

Whenever children are educated, communities become stronger. Whenever communities are strong, nations become stronger and when nations are strong the people whom live in those nations live better, safer and more productive lives.
