Braces for Harlie

My daughter Harlie is 14 years old and has a beautiful smile and a beautiful heart. She has always been a very easy, happy child, she gets A's and B's in school, has earned her Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do and teaches the little kids at her studio. She always helps me whenever I ask her without complaining, and very rarely asks me for anything big. I know, it sounds unbelievable and just a mother's viewpoint - but it's true. For Christmas 2 years ago all she wanted was Gummy Bears . . .  yep, Gummy Bears! Nothing big, nothing fancy, nothing electronic or expensive, just Gummy Bears. FYI: she's still munching on those Gummy Bears! 
Lately, she has been hiding her smile and asking about braces. I listened, and decided to take her for a free consultation to the orthodontist. They checked her teeth, took x-rays, and showed me what was going on in her mouth - oh boy, not an option anymore - but then the conversation about pricing started! At the very minimum it was going to be $4,800 up to $5,200. I lost my last insurance (which wouldn't cover it anyway) and as of this date do not have, nor am I sure I can afford, new insurance. Work'n on it!! As I sat there, trying not to panic, I realized in my heart that this was going to happen and I was going to find a way!  I think I did with gofundme.com and I hope any of you out there reading this can help. I know this is not a huge life threatening situation and I thougth about it long and hard first, but for a young girl who is just starting her journey to young womanhood and beyond, and a single mom who wants to give her whatever help she can with that, it means the world!
