ACCP Everybody Eats ~ No Child Goes Hungry

1 in 7 children live with hunger. More than 11 million live in "food insecure" households which means that their families aren't able to afford enough food for every member of their family. Often the only food they may get in a day comes from school and many parents struggle to afford the cost for this. With the Coronavirus spreading, schools closed, parents being laid off causing a hardship on the families. Almeta Crayton Community Programs  wants to make sure children are getting healthy meals.  It Takes a Village to make sure NO Child Goes Hungry! We are providing lunch during spring break and after. We want to fill in whatever gaps are needed.  We are also providing meals and necessities to the elderly, home-bound, and compromised immune systems.

We are on the ground, making lunches for students, dropping off  in neighborhoods that are in need, grocery store/pharmacy delivery runs for those that need to stay in. Almeta Crayton's Mission is Community Helping Community and we need your help to make sure those in need get assistance and help with social distancing, the best we know how.
