Accident Survivor in need of help

Donation protected
On October 2017 I was run over by a careless bicycle rider with no fault of mine. I ended up at the General Hospital in San Francisco where I was treated for Multiple Facial Bones Fractures as you can see in the picture. I could not breath thru my nose for a month, and I’m still struggling with nose bleeding, disabilitating migraines, and PTSD.

Because of this accident I have $10,000 in medical bills and I have maxed out my credit card which has been collecting high interest rate and fees for a total balance of over $14,000.00

I cannot pursue legal action as the bike rider flew the scene, there are no street video cameras and no witnesses to the accident.

I have been looking for a steady good paying job and going to interviews but no offer yet despite having a good education, skills, training and experience.

Because I have been self employed prior to the accident I don’t qualify to receive unemployment benefits.

I have depleted my checking and savings account and have no money to pay for rent this coming month.

I don’t have any assets not even a car or bicycle I can sell for immediate cash.

Because of the credit card debt, my credit score has been downgraded and was denied my requests for a personal loan from different lenders and banks.

At the moment I am doing food pickups and deliveries with Postmates, that requires lots of walking up and down the hills of San Francisco for very little money, so just to be able to buy me food.

My First priority is to avoid being evicted from my apartment so I need help raising money to pay rent due on June 1st, 2018. I really don’t want to end up in the street.

I have tried to apply for Section 8 Voucher for rent help in San Francisco but I was told there is a long waiting list (6 months or longer) and currently the waiting list is closed.

On top of all this, I am grieving the loss of my dad who just passed away and because of my financial situation I couldn’t even afford the trip to Italy where my parents live to attend his funeral.

I cannot rely on the help of my family as my mother is also struggling now that she has lost my dad’s pension, and she is also on a watch list after she was rushed to the hospital for her heart problem, basically she was told she would need a heart transplant.

I honestly never thought something like this could ever happen and what I’m finding out is that the system is not setup to help you out.

I hope no one has to go thru a situation like this ever.

So I ask you to have a heart and donate whatever you can now, no donation is too small. Thank you.
