Unlike many others, I have had the privilege to attend rehab for substance addiction.
Fighting this disease is one of the hardest things I have ever endured, and will continue to endure for the rest of my life.
So many do not have the means or opportunity to begin the journey to recovery. This issue is a class, race, and gender/sex issue.
My goal is to give those who cannot afford it a chance to recover. This is a matter of life or death.
By donating to publicly funded inpatient rehabs, all money raised will go towards charities or individuals that need financial assistance to get necessary help. People on welfare, people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community will be prioritised.
