Hi, my name is Lesley and I am fundraising for my daughter, Sierra. Our family loves to get outdoors and explore through hiking. When Sierra was younger, it was easy to carry her in a backpack carrier, but it’s no longer possible as she has grown. This greatly limits our adventures to those that are accessible by wheelchair. A new device is now on the market that would allow us to carry her in tandem, strapped to a wheelchair-like cart with a single wheel and shock absorbency, offloading 75% of her weight! Huckleberry hiking cart This device would open Sierra’s world and allow us to do the things others do with ease, including walking on the beach!
