Due to the pandemic, we now are experiencing a crisis within a crisis. We have let the education and childcare sector fend for themselves for far too long. We must pool all available resources and come together to create sustainable solutions that work for everyone.

Funds will go towards creating Resource Hubs to support families of all income levels with accessible, equitable education, and childcare solutions. We will be connecting families with education resources, childcare options, knowledge sharing forums, and experts to help ensure this generation of children have what they need for a prosperous future.
By bringing resources to the forefront and stimulating business, we can simultaneously shrink the educational wealth gap AND ensure that parents (especially mothers) do not disappear from the workforce.

Parents and Providers can rate and review everything so we can discover the best solutions for our particular situations!
Discussion Forums and Connections
There is no sense in each one of us trying to figure this out each on our own. We can help one another and we’re recruiting experts moderators to our forums! We can make this fun... like a Pinterest of ideas and will award prizes to those who share the highest quality content.
Let’s come together to share struggles, solutions and work together to make resources accessible to families from all income levels to ensure no child is left behind by the widening opportunity (wealth) gap.
We are inviting government, schools and human resource thought leaders to help us create solutions to ensure we serve children from families of every income level. A country that does not care for ALL of its children will ultimately fail.

OUR STORY
EduCare Connections is by Via The Village Inc, a childcare networking platform founded by Emily Louange , a working mother of two committed to making strides toward solving the childcare crisis affecting her family along with millions of others.
Since launching in 2018, Via The Village has connected countless families, nannies and nanny shares and helped members find community. Over the years, Via The Village has established relationships with numerous experts, thought leaders and high quality businesses that can help parents, children and providers through these difficult times.
We are pleased to announce that our nanny expert, Kimberley Benakovich , has accepted the position as EduCare Connections Hub Director as she is so perfectly suited for the role. Kim has her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology, is an endorsed Reading Specialist, Newborn Care Specialist and has worked as both a teacher in addition to working as a nanny for nearly 20 years. She will be overseeing our Forums and recruiting industry experts and thought leaders to help moderate our forums.
Via The Village is looking to quickly expand our small but mighty team so reach out if you have interest in being an ambassador or possess marketing, design, technical, product/project management or other skills that will help propel our mission forward.
USE OF FUNDS & TIMELINE
We've already started building. Children are going back to school and families need these resources IMMEDIATELY.
We are looking to raise $55,000 by September 8th so we secure more (wo)man-power to accelerate our timeline and launch EduCare Connections this fall semester.
•12k will go towards branding & design
•15k towards development
•15k marketing
•13k administrative/operating costs & content creation
We will start by launching the nationwide virtual hub and a Chicago-specific hub. Then quickly create hubs for other major metropolitan areas.
Each 10K over our funding goal will allow us to expand into another metro area.
