Accessibility for Madison

Madison Born is a 13 year old little girl from Pittsburgh, PA. She was born with mitochondrial disease, which has left her unable to walk, talk,  or comminicate and must be fed through a tube.  Her mother, Kristen, is in desperate need of your help.  Maddie's home is not wheelchair accessible, and because of that, her caretakers have a difficult time managing to do everyday tasks.  Maddie needs a roll in shower, a wheelchair ramp and many other modifications to improve her quality of life.  As you can well imagine the costs for such a massive undertaking are huge, and this family is running out of time.  They have to have this done or Maddie will lose her state funded home care and would have to be placed in a home.  We as her comminity can NOT let that happen!  Please donate today!
