Make life more accessible for dad

Short version - My dad lost a leg and a foot. Their home is not designed for people with disabilties. Their car is not designed for people with disabilties. Their bills are not designed for people with disabilties. Help me fix all this so they can go back to just being my "kooky parents" that I write comedy about. Longer version Dec. 1st we finally brought my dad home from the hospital after his double amputation (right leg & left foot). From the moment we loaded him into the car, to the moment he decided to sleep in the recliner because he was unable to get down the hallway and into his bedroom, we realised this apartment will no longer work. Accessibility is something many may take for granted but it really does determine if you get to live your life comfortably and without worry about dignity, or if you're (like my father) constantly worried about "inconveniencing" people simply by asking for help to do basic things like sitting up or grabbing water. The goal is to move my parents the 2 hours from Manhattan KS to Kansas City, making both their home and my help more accessible to them. This requires a few things. Their vehicle needs repair and upgraded to be easier for him to ride in. Insurance and disability help with rent but they will need to have a deposit ready when we find their new home. Finally, helping take care of any expenses in relation to getting his prosthetic and any special equipment would be fantastic. Im doing what I can to assist them and make things more comfortable but frankly I need help. Even $10 would help make a difference in this very trying time. Thanks!
