<div>Hello, we are Mikela &amp; Marissa and we run an annual Donation Campaign called Access to Necessities, Period. During the month of February we will be collecting menstrual products and monetary donations to donate to local organizations who are in need of these products. Feminine hygiene products continue to be items of need on wish lists amongst many shelters. 1 in 4 people in Canada who menstruate have to choose between food or period products, putting aside a set of needs to take care of another set of needs. In lieu of these products women will often resort to lining their underwear with items like towels, tissue paper, newspaper and socks. This causes concern for hygiene and possible infection. No girl, woman or person should ever have to choose. Since the campaign's inception in 2021, we have collected and donated over 68,000 menstrual products to local organizations who support vulnerable populations! We hope to keep this amazing momentum going!
